Wonderful stay
My mother and my husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Salt River Lodge. Having two separate bathrooms was a bonus in this price range:) View over the river was delightful. Just sorry the weather was too cold to make use of the swimming pool. And thanks to Joy for a beautifully clean unit :) :)

The facility is good and well maintained, but does not have a fenced or barricaded parking. The staff is friendly and helpful and the houses are in good condition for the money you pay. It was located centrally from a lot of tourist attractions and good restaurants.

nice...
I enjoyed my stay at Salt River Lodge its really like being at home except needs to be a little bit cleaner. The rooms are spacious and nice braai areas so you dont get mixed with other guests you get your privacy and no one really bothers you staff are super super friendly and helpful. I would recommend them well priced also. But I just hope they will increase on the cleaning or then again i suffer from OCD... I loved the pool and view... its sooo peaceful and if you like a good morning jog its well positioned for a great run

Stunning view!
We stayed in flat 3 for the weekend, fully equipped and spacious. We were warmly welcomed, friendly people, lovely view, peace and quiet. I will love to stay there again.

Bare bones happiness
Four of us stayed in flat one for one night. We got in a little late and the power was out. Someone brought us a few candles and the electricity was back on by the time we got back from dinner. Wished for a few more basic items - like a coffee plunger, or at least instant coffee and tea, pretty standard stuff - but have no complaints about the staff or the accommodations. Lovely surroundings in the noisy peacefulness of nature, frogs and such. Would stay again.
