Great stay
We needed a place to make a gentle return to busy life after nearly three weeks in the Richterveld and Namaqua Parks and Karroo Khaya and the gentle town of Prince Alfred proved to be perfect.
We can happily recommend it.

Our hosts were very welcoming and we loved everything from the quirky decor to the wonderful vegetable garden which we were given free reign to pick from.Our hosts are well connected and advised wonderful eating locations and a must is a visit to Gay's dairy for the best milk ever!
We will definitely recommend Karoo Khaya to all our friends and we'll be back soonest.

Everything we'd hoped
We enjoyed our stay at Karoo Khaya and vow to be back as often as we can. Megan was lovely to chat to and offered great suggestions of places to eat, things to see, and people to meet in the area. The accommodation was beautiful, clean, and well decorated. The kitchen had everything you could want, and fresh milk was placed in the fridge for you. The garden offered tables to relax in the shade or the sun, and town is just a few minutes walk down a lazy, lovely street. Thank you for being wonderful hosts, we look forward to coming back!

Hostess Megan was great and made us feel at home. We enjoyed our stay and the chalet was sufficiently equipped. Good value for money.
If I may make a suggestion, I would recommend that the mattress in the chalet that we had, be replaced.

Stayed here one night and it was absolutely perfect. Gorgeous farm where you can pick your own veggies! Big, beautiful rooms very reasonably priced, and amazing breakfast. Megan is incredibly sweet and helpful. Highly recommend!
