UNPROFESSIONAL - A No GO!
I had a romantic birthday surprise for my friend planned and was booked from the Wednesday. Monday they emailed me to make arrangements to move us to another guesthouse because they were expecting a conference group and was worried that it would intervere with our "quiet" stay.
I also paid and asked for sparkling wine, rose petals do to the room up romantically, fresh flowers and an aromatherapy basket. everything would be done at the new gueshouse. on arrival at the Kosmos Manor Guesthouse, the sparkling wine was there, beautifully done by them as well as the rose petals. But no aromatherapy basket and no fresh flowers.
I contacted them. The aromatherapy basket arrived. To my disgust it only had a fizz ball, bar of soap and a tiny handmade scrub in it. They never sent the flowers even after contacting them about it. I still havent received any communication regarding this as I am being ignored. They will definitely never see me again.
I consider this to be very unprofessional!

Unpleasant!
The Guest house is lovely, staff friendly/helpful however we were put in a room without a view which was rather disappointing, furthermore there was a spa bath in our room but you could not fill it up to use the jets as there was a shortage of Hot water we could not even have one 5 min shower. Our first room also had several power shortages. We asked if we could move, they moved us to another room which again did not have hot water but had breathtaking view. The 3'rd room that we stayed in was also lovely but again did not have enough hot water for even one person to fully wash themselves. Food was not to my liking (did not have much choice) also served cold the first night, dessert was horrible. Boat cruise was unorganized and we ended up eating the same food as we had the night before on the boat, which i did not enjoy. I would not recommend this place and certainly did not feel it deserves a Four Star rating. Also the place was not very child friendly.

I am totally embarressed for taking my husband on a romantic weekend at a 4 star guesthouse to only receive 1 star service. I can not believe that i was ripped off so badly. Not to mention that i had help service drinks and dinner the saturday night because there was no manager, only 2 waiters for 13 tables. Then the cherry on the cake is ..... NO DSTV (WTF)

Attitude adjustment
This was not a pleasant experience - the staff are friendly but unfortunately the quality of food and rooms was not in line with what was promised. The owner needs to take more time in understanding the customers and not about trying to take their money.

Sweet Life Weekend Package
We arrived and our room was prepared with rose petals, lovely champagne and flowers. The breakfast and dinner was absolutely amazing and we enjoyed the boat cruise which was very relaxing and all in all we enjoyed our trip.

HONEYMOON SWEETLIFE PACKAGE
OVERALL WE ENJOYEDOUR STAY, BUT AT R2444 P/NIGHT WE EXPECTED THE 4-STAR QUALITY PROMISED, BUT DID NOT. ON SAT WE RETURNED TO THE LODGE AT 14H00 AND THE ROOM WAS NOT MADE YET. SAT EVENING WE HAD NO MENU CHOICE AS THE ONE OPTION WAS FINISHED (LESS THAN AN HOUR INTO DINNER). SUN MORNING, BEANS REPLACED WITH MUSHROOMS, OOPS, SORRY, NO MUSHROOMS. OUR TABLE DID NOT HAVE SALT/PEPPER OR SIDE PLATES. NOT A R4888 4-STAR EXPERIENCE. NO ROSE PETALS OR BELGIUM CHOCOLATES IN THE ROOM AS PER PACKAGE DEAL. DISAPPOINTING.
