We were photographing a wedding in Sabie and stayed at Misty Mountain, I have to give credit where credit is due and I definitely do recommend Mist Mountain.
Lovely views, clean chalets, delicious food, friendly and helpful staff - really enjoyed the mist too, really lived up to its name - will definitely be returning.

A true misty mountain experience
We stayed over at Misty Mountain just for one night. The personnel were very helpful, friendly and true ambassadors of this beautiful setting in the mountains. Do yourself a favour and pick your stay carefully. The soft rain and mist added to the romantic atmosphere and perfect accommodation. We wished the stay could have been longer.

Exciting place with beautiful views. Clean rooms (with fireplace) and fireplaces all around in the restaurant and bar places. Nice alpine atmosphere and good food. One to go back!

A little piece of Africa, you go Misty Mountain
It's with mixed emotion that I'm writing this review.......Don't stress nothing bad at all. It's more a case of us being somewhat sad that we had to come home after spending 4 glorious days with you and your crew at the Misty mountain resort over easter
It goes without saying that you have a winning formula at your resort. The venu, staff, food, location is amongst the best out there.
Add to that your friendliness,hospitality and good old South African smiles, made this a truly remarkable stay, and one we would like to repeat many times over.
A special thanks to the management team.....and Mable for this out of this world experience......and the super delicious food that rivals any top restaurant in South Africa......
Also it needs to be mentioned that this places food is seriously good. Your cook have a natural nack for the exact dish you present on your menu. Please send our compliments to him.

Lovely resort
Misty mountain is a lovely resort. We enjoyed the tranquil surroundings and the units are lovely and clean and comfortable. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was outstanding.

Beautiful landscape. The food at the restaurant is very good.
Unfortunately the chalet wasn't well serviced. There were bugs on the bed. No cooking facilities.
However the staff was very friendly.

The name is virtually where it is, in the mist, too beautiful. The scenery is breathtaking and so peaceful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a break or for the romantic couple's getaway. The food is ideally portioned, so no overeating when your'e on holiday. Very friendly efficient staff! Keep it up!
