We had a lovely short stay. Lovely fire and electric under blankets. I would like to say that the road is ONLY for 4x4 and this should be mentioned before the "payment" section.

Beautiful Surroundings
Lovely area, saw crowned cranes on the way here. Set in a valley between the lower Drakensberg mountains on a farm. Facilities are very nice, verging on the opulent. Two problems, flies outside and inside bugging you continuously, and a shower that is boiling hot or ice cold, no in between. Pity.

Woodcliffe Cottage
Amazing scenery - the cottage is set away from the main farmstead and has beautiful views of the mountains. The cottage is not plush, but has all the necessities. A definite destination for nature lovers.

We loved the few days we spent at Woodcliffe Cottage. The scenery is breathtaking, the cycling amazing, the fishing fantastic. Definitively one of our best finds to date.

Relaxing
A most relaxing stayover in a very beautiful, serene scenery. The cottage has all the comforts one expects from an AA rated venue. The welcome by Phil was very friendly, one feels you are welcomed into a family.
