Discovery World Triathlon hitting Cape Town

Cape Town has become the de-facto destination for sporting events in recent times. Having hosted numerous events like the 2 Oceans Marathon and the Cape Epic mountain biking event (definitely not for the faint hearted) and also there are plans in the pipe line to attract a Formula One race through the streets of Cape Town - it really was a no brainer to bring this event to this great city.

The Discovery World Triathlon have selected Cape Town to host the event in 2015 which comes as no surprise as Cape Town was named 2012's World’s leading Sports Tourism destination with infrastructure conducive to hosting world class events.

This will be the first world class triathlon event held in Africa and should definitely not disappoint the avid triathlete!
