Our family decided last minute to go away for a few days. Afrikhaya responded quite fast to our request for accommodation. The owners were professional and friendly, even wished me happy birthday and informed us when load shedding would happen. They catered for our one year old by providing a cot, car seat, baby bath and stroller which definitely made life much easier. The apartment was spotless, neat and comfortable and had all we needed. Situated in a beautiful safe area. We enjoyed the pool on days we didnt feel like going out and savoured the beautiful well kept garden.

Wonderful experience
We loved our stay at Afri-khaya. Hettie and Kobus went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect, even playing taxi when we had transport issues, and drawing us numerous maps so we didn't get lost. What amazing people and what a story their lives are! The accommodation itself has everything you could need, including a full stove and oven, free wifi, secure gated parking and a beautiful pool. The neighbourhood is quiet and secluded, and the garden is peaceful and rustig. We loved being there and will definitely be back next time we are in Cape Town.

Perfect location, easily accessible by car. A short drive to both the airport and the town. Beautiful, quiet and safe neighbourhood. The place is very comfortable, super clean and well-kept. And above all, the hosts are extremely helpful, kind and friendly. Well worth booking and staying there!

A home from home
I spent 7 nights at Afri-khaya in Nov '13 and I must say that my stay was made even better by my lovely hosts Hester and Cobus. They couldn't do enough for me and made me feel at home from the moment I stepped through the door. Afri-khaya is a lovely spacious apartment with a beautiful garden and pool. I would highly recommend a stay here for all the above reasons. I'm sure I'll be back one day.
