Relaxed escape in Kommetjie

the stay at Arums place was fantastic. Dave went out of his way to make sure we settled in nicely . Arums Place is close to the beech, so you can go down to the beech often to watch whales and dolphins, surfers etc.

Lovely house
We had a wonderful visit to Kommetjie just really grotty weather which was a pity. Arum Place is a lovely homely house which had all the comforts of home. Dave & Erica Swanson were very friendly & helpful beyond the call of duty. Thank you!

Arum Place
Arum Place is a very comfortable, well equipped apartment and indeed very close to the sea. We were, however, very disappointed by the fact that there is no sea view as advertised. A hedge has obviously covered the one view and the view from the living room is obstructed by a plastic film stuck on the windows that is bubbled and peeling. All the windows in the apartment were also extremely dirty.

They say a photograph speaks a 1000 words and this is true of Arum place.
Its pretty and if one stands on the verandha one can see the sea.
We cannot add more than that as in typical Cape weather it poured the whole week-end. If it wasn't for the DSTV package it could've been an awful experience.
Fully equipped and great for access to the Lighthouse in Kommetjie and walks around Misty Cliffs
