Basangoma cancelled our Easter booking 2 weeks before Easter
I cannot rate Basangoma as they cancelled our booking for the Easter weekend 2 weeks prior to Easter due to "unforeseen circumstances". I found this extremely unprofessional and very disappointing and we will certainly not recommended this lodge to anybody. On the contrary, unless you have a second backup booking readily available avoid booking Basangoma as it may ruin your holiday expectations. We hope nothing bad happened to the family, we enquired about it when our booking was cancelled but never received a response.

Peace, quiet & magical
Wow, this was such a joy. If you want shops, bright lights & parties steer clear. If you want a beautifully appointed cottage surrounded by beauty, this is for you. A place to unwind & find your soul.

Just what I needed
The Chalet add everything I needed, however the seclusion, peace and tranquility was everything my mind and my soul need.
