Birdsong Cottages

Our stay for one night in Kingfisher Cottage was very pleasant. We all swam in the pool and went for very nice nature walks. This cottage overlooks a beautiful dam that supports White-faced Duck, Black Crake, Little Grebe and Hamerkop. The cottage was very comfortable and supplied with everything we needed. Both pairs of bedrooms have a bathroom ensuite by both bedrooms having a door leading onto it. It's a novel idea, but needs some managing. The nature trail is very beautiful and we saw zebra, blesbok, impala and klipspringer as well as about 65 bird species including Brown Snake-Eagle and Striped Pipit. Receptionist/ manager William was very helpful and friendly.

Our stay was very pleasant and comfortable. A few things were missing and we felt that a more comfortable, sunny outside area would be an idea. William was very helpful and looked after us well.
