Great little peaceful haven
We stayed in the (self catering) Owl House at the lodge - a delightful circular thatched building with well equipped kitchen and relaxing seating area. The children loved sleeping upstairs under the thatched roof. The grounds were well maintained and shady and I can recommend having a massage - it was lovely.

Excellent accommodation and beautiful surroundings. The room was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Food was good. Will definitely return.

What an amazing place. The rooms looked lovely when we arrived. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help you. Had a lovely evening around the fire listening to hippos. Wished we could have stayed longer! Will definitely go back.

Romantic room with great service
The room is big, clean and has a private balcony facing the river. The environment is great with animals around the cottage. The staff are great, as well as the food. Room did not have a heater, but once we asked, heating was provided. It's really great. Highly recommend.
