A beautiful and welcoming cottage which was excellently equipped although it could do with a bit of updating as far as the lounge suite was concerned. Would also maybe suggest putting in a sleeper couch. However, it is a really idyllic getaway, blissfully quiet and peaceful with magnificent views. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to escape the 'rat-race' for a while !

Home away from home
We had a stunning weekend away at Clivia Hill. Clive and Gill are incredibly welcoming and made us really feel at home.
Being pet friendly was also great as it allowed me to bring my hound along.
It is centrally located with decent roads to get there all the way.
I would definitely recommend Clivia Hill as a place for people who are looking for something fairly basic yet comfortable in the berg.

Lovely
As well as being very clean and comfortable this is a very pleasant place to stay. It's in a very quiet and peacefull location the shore of a beautufull lake. The hosts are extremely friendly and could not be more helpfull. The breakfast was also fantastic. We have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone.
