Very pleasant stay
We only needed a place to make a stopover for one night for our journey from the Bushveld into the Drakensberg.
We experienced a very pleasant stay with very friendly owners and staff. The breakfast was very good.
This place turned out to be excellent as its nice atmosphere gave us a good feeling. Thank you very much.

Rest assured
We had a wonderful stay! We enjoyed the peaceful and inviting atmosphere and loved the tasteful decor of the rooms. Thank you for the extra effort with breakfast to accommodate all of us at one feastly table. Highly recommended!

Enjoyable stay
We have stayed over for three nights while house hunting in Heidelberg and have no complaints, clean, neat and tidy, very nice breakfast each morning, nice and central, private and peaceful.
2 mins drive from shops / restaurant etc.

Very clean and tidy accommodation and great value for money! Would definitely recommend the Dorps-Akker Gastehuis to anyone wanting to visit the cultural gem that is Heidelberg!

Very good
Since we retired 2 years ago we have travelled South Africa extensively, using only B&B or guest lodges, and I can honestly say that the owners of Die Dorps Akker have done their homework and have come up with the right recipe for a comfortable and well run establishment. Can honestly say streets ahead of similar priced guest houses. Please pass my comments on to the owners.
