Unwinding
For a second time we stayed at 'Field & Stream' recently. We love the tranquility of the farm, beautiful scenery and the great walks we enjoyed every day. Especially to the waterfall. You don't have to be fly fisher people to enjoy F&S. The accommodation is well kitted out. Beds are good. One thing we missed, was comfortable seating outside to enjoy the views in or read. So bring your own camping chairs!

Great stay!
Our stay at Field and Stream was a great experience. We were a large group and stayed in The Nest, The Cormorant and the Farmstead - each cottage was fully kitted and the facilities were perfect. Taking a walk or bike ride around the farm to see the beautiful views is a must! The road however is a bit precarious, so I would recommend only those with 4 x 4's attempt it!

Excellent weekend - to be repeated.
We had a superb weekend of absolute tranquility - the setting was completely relaxing - other than seeing other people fishing we felt like we were the only only people there. The accommodation was comfortable and really had everything we needed - plenty of wood and ten top up bags were very reasonable. The kids could get out and fish and run around and do what they wanted in complete safety. We will definitely return.

Very quaint
A lovely place to stay with just about everything you need - we missed a coffee press/plunger, but otherwise all good. Comfortable and picturesque.
One warning - the road from Dullstroom is a terrible, with big loose rocks in the road and potholes, so don't take your tiny hire car there, unless you drive at 40km/h. We didn't fish but it certainly looks ideal.

This is paradise!
We desperately needed a break after an exhausting few weeks. The beautiful surroundings and peaceful environment was all we needed. No cell phone reception (wonderful!) A big variety of bird species, wild life and beautiful waterfalls. Enjoyed the view of the dams and fields from the veranda of our cottage. Will definately visit again!
