What a lovely place! We were put in the farmhouse which was more than big enough for our family party of six (grandparents, parents and two children). The house was comfortable and well equipped, and the owners were friendly and helpful. We loved the peace and quiet and the beautiful setting. It was an ideal stop-over point between Jo'burg airport, where we had arrived in the morning, and Kruger Park, where we were due the following day

We did not see any owners or hosts to welcome us. The instructions on the web said to collect a key at a certain address... we waited there for 15 minutes with no luck in talking to the owner. no cell phone reception. Out of frustration we drove to the venue, there we found the key in the house. The cottage has your basic needs, not fancy but ok. Bath was dusty and shower door broken. Disappointed not to find soap, but a little rose the size of a R2 coin... Thank you though for enough blankets and a stacked fire in the house. We were not cold
