Log cabin & Settlers village

Claim 9 was neat and clean and was well serviced every day.

We booked two chalets and we were pleasantly surprised by the outstanding experience we had. The chalets are cozy, warm, homely, spacious. The kitchen is well equipped with crockery, cutlery, braaing tongs, salad bowls, pots and pans. The fridge accommodated our weekend groceries. We had our own private built-in braai stand near our patio. My kids enjoyed swimming in the private pool in the evening. The beds are comfortable and the level of cleanliness is exceptional. There was extra bedding and blankets in each bedroom. I was extremely impressed with the non-invasive and hassle-free check-out procedure. I definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Mpumalanga Graskop, I am sure they will enjoy as much as I did if not more.

I would compliment Settlers on its cleanliness,however it was disturbing to note that some of the cost-cutting measures did not make it a pleasant stay : 1. No dress mirror in the cabin 2. No hangers in the cupboard 3. A single steak knife in the cabin 4. Cupboard space way too small for couple. Unfortunately on holiday it's these little things that either make your holiday a pleasant one or not. So no more Settlers for me.

Quite comfortable and adequate for our needs for our stay of two nights - plenty places to visit!
