Lydenburg Guesthouse/Gastehuis

My family and I travelled to Mpumalanga to take in the beautiful sights and decided to stay at Lydenburg Guest house. What a great decision and experience that turned out to be. I travel a lot for business and very rarely come across an establishment that combines friendliness, efficiency and professionalism so well. Everything was perfect from the comfortable beds to the spotless rooms, the lovely breakfasts and the laundry done and so neatly packed away into the cupboards. An extra special Thank you to Amanda who offered and indeed did prepare breakfast packs for our very early trip to the Kruger National Park - We truly appreciated your hospitality. This establishment is true value for money and would recommend them to anyone.

Ons moes Amanda 2 uur in die oggend wakker maak om vir ons die hek oop te maak na 'n lang dag op die pad. Sy het ons vriendelik verwelkom, gesels asof ons ou vriende was en ons regtig baie welkom laat voel terwyl ek baie seker is, sy liewer in haar bed sou wou le en slaap. Die volgende oggend is ons getrakteer op 'n heerlike ontbyt en nog gesels (sommer ook uitgevind ou vriende van haar is vriende van ons en dat sy ook van Thabazimbi af kom) en toe was ons sommer vol moed en krag vir die groot intrek. Baie, baie dankie Amanda. Jou vriendelikheid en gasvryheid het werklik baie beteken aan 'n groepie moee trekkers. Die kamers was baie smaakvol en netjies en ons het heerlik geslaap en geeet. Ons sal volgende keer nie definitief weer by jou kom oorbly. Mag jou gastehuis van krag tot krag gaan en mag jy altyd vol geboek wees. We woke Amanda at 2am to open the gate after a long day on the road. She welcomed us kindly; talking as if we were old friends and we really felt welcome while I'm sure she would have loved to be asleep. The next morning we were treated to a delicious breakfast and while talking we found out that old friends of hers are also friends of ours. Thank you so much Amanda. Your kindness and hospitality really meant a lot to a group of tired trekkers. The rooms were very tasteful and tidy and we had a good sleep and ate well. We will definitely come back. May your guesthouse from strength to strength and may you always be fully booked.

Wir waren die erste Gäste und wurden gut umsorgt! Hatten eine angenehme Nacht, nach einem anstrengendem Flug! Gut als Zwischenstop!

Good basic accommodation, clean and functional. Well priced and convenient in relation to the new shopping centre. Staff/owner caring and helpful in every respect. Excellent breakfast. Would thoroughly recommend for an overnight stop.

Aangename netjiese kamers met skoon badkamer en beddegoed. Graankos ontbyt ingesluit - moenie te veel verwag nie. Ideaal vir 'n nag se verblyf oppad na die Krugerwildtuin.
