Maroela Guest Lodge

Owner was at home but did not say hello. He sent his son to tell us where our room was.Nobody told us when and where we would get the prepaid breakfast. Room was not completely cleaned (bathroom and waste paper basket ).

We arrived late on Friday and we left on Sunday. The room where we stayed (at the top of the lodge) was one of the best I've ever seen. A private terrace overlooking Thabazimbi, big corner bath and big showers, fridge and DStv. We used the lodge mostly as a base while visiting the nearby Marakele National Park. The town was a little dead at night, with the only noise coming from some club playing loud music in the middle of the night, but we always came back to our place so tired after visiting the surroundings that we couldn't care less! Great accommodation!
