Marula Cottage Guest Lodge
From the minute we drove in, we were made to feel so welcome. All the facilities were first class, our room was spacious, clean comfortable and lacked for nothing. Breakfasts were excellent and we were fortunate to be able to pre-order dinner from the lodge too. And our dietary requirements were catered for! Monika and Dave are the most outstanding and kindly hosts, thanks for a wonderful stay!

Lovely spot!!
We stay at Marula in our trip to visit Marakele National Park. Monica and Dave made us feel really welcome. Their food was delicious too and we had a very pleasant stay. Thanks!!

Birders paradise
I spent only one night at Marula Cottage but it was a very comfortable one. Dave and Monika were very gracious guests who went out of their way to make me comfortable. Over forty species of birds were recorded in a matter of one and a half hours spent sitting on the swimming pool terrace, while waiting for a delicious breakfast. Will plan to spend longer on my return.

A Home away from Home
Awesome setting with amazing views. The hosts Monika and Dave are a breath of fresh air - make you feel like part of the family and not a guest. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Monika is quite handy in the kitchen - dinner and breakfast being very tasty. There is no other place in Thabazimbi. We only wish we had stayed longer.
