Our stay at Mogodi was wonderful , very peaceful and quite ,no noises and the staff was super friendly ,the rooms where clean. I would totally come again or recommend it to anyone going to Mpumalanga. Keep up he good work !!!

Comfortable
The unit itself is comfortable with good furnishings. Nice wooden cupboards and a firm but comfortable mattress.
A few small things bothered us, like hosepipes left lying across our doorway and a braai hafway through the cleaning process left in front of our unit.
Our unit also looked almost directly into the owner's garage, stealing some of the appeal.
I did get the impression that we were more houseguests than people staying at a lodge.
The town is very dead at night, with the exception of an excellent Portuguese restaurant "Canimambo" just a few blocks up.

good value for Money. Must be a great view, but weather was bad, so we had no view.

The breakfast was lovely.
The only dissapointing thing was that the tea and coffee utensils in the room were dirty , and so were the pillow cases and the rooms were freezing cold.

We really enjoyed our stay
Stayed at the lodge on 15 and 16 Feb 2015, booked for one double room and one backpacker room as I was showing my sister-in-law and her son visiting from overseas the panorama area.
Many thanks to our host for kindly putting me in a double room next to their room for our convenience with no extra cost. Such kindness! We really enjoyed our stay there. The food and service was brilliant! Nice location too. Facilities are well maintained. Will definitely come back. Be blessed!

Value for money
We booked a room at Mogodi Lodge because it was one of the few places that would let you book for only one night - we were touring the area and did not want to stay in one place throughout. The rooms are a bit dated (let say 90's chic), but it has everything you need. The price includes breakfast which we thought to be excellent value for money, especially considering the delicious breakfast spread you get to choose from. The hosts are wonderful people, making you feel at home even if you are only there for a night. They were super accommodating, letting us check in early, and they didn't find us strange when we only ordered ice-cream and wine for dinner that evening. The location is great, just outside of Graskop, so within easy reach of all the local attractions. Will definitely stay again.

Weekend breakaway
We enjoyed our stay over the past weekend.
The service were good and the restaurant food were very delicious.
Were a bit disappointed in Graskop, the town is way below standard, however enjoyed the scenery in Sabie and Pilgrims Rest. Finally, good accommodation for a fare price!

It was a wonderful to stay at the Magodi Logde,
the place is very clean and the area itself just peaceful and wonderful. I will most definitely visit this place again and do recommend it to anyone going that direction.

Mildly disappointing
The actual chalet was quite nice, spacious & clean. However there was an acute shortage of hot water, and we were cold as there were no heaters.
With their climate it is not acceptable to simply have a fireplace if they are not prepared to light in on a complimentary basis.

Ok...
Upon arrival we were greeted by a chalet that had not been cleaned from previous visitors. After a 5 hour trip this was not how we wanted to start our holiday. Even after the cleaning lady had left there was used condom wrappers in the main bedroom drawers. The music from the big swing was also very distracting and really was annoying. The facilites were ok, the surroundings beautiful.

I enjoyed my stay. The lodge is situated in a very convenient place, very close to all tourist attractions. The restaurant also had great food.

Hotel room accomodation
What an experience, what a warm and welcoming environment with friendly staff members, I wish I could have stayed a little bit longer. It was indeed a weekend to remember, all thanks to Mogodi lodge.

Enjoyed our stay
We enjoyed our stay, but they can really think of putting aircons or fans in their units (self catering)! The unit was not very clean either, especially the cutlery drawers, but we enjoyed our stay thoroughly!

Mogodi Lodge stay
Venue was neat and tidy and the rooms nice and neat. Had MNET which was great as it was very misty while we were there. Staff friendly and helpful. However, the pool was very dirty brown and the putt putt totally dilapidated and overgrown which was really a pity as on the hot days the kids couldn't swim or play and they were very upset.
