Parker Cottage

I stayed nine nights at Parker Cottage and it was very nice. I opted for a regular room, though I should have spent a little extra for the ambience of the "luxury" suites because they were very nice. The staff was lovely and breakfasts were good. I did not go for the hot breakfast, but it was offered every day. As this property is victorian-era, it does not have central heat, so be prepared in winter!

We were pleasantly surprised by the extra effort made by Phil and Liz. We arrived late afternoon and found that they had already supplied us with something to eat and proper filter coffee for the next morning. It was a wonderful surprise to see that they had thought of this small but meaningful detail. The loft is beautiful and the building very impressive. The access to the rooftop pool and gym in the ajoining building is another great bouns feature - one we were unfortunatly unable to try out due to bad weather. This is definitely the best value for money out of all the self-catering apartments we've stayed in and we've stayed in some awesome places before. The loft is top of our list for next time we're in town.
