What a view!
I booked a double room and on arrival was upgraded to one of the Point Break self catering units. A large two bedroom apartment, fully equipped. The view from the bedroom and the lounge was just breath taking. I spent an entire afternoon soaking up the winter sun with a book from the lounge as it had double volume window and lets in the warm winter sun. Lovely stay. Thank you!

dirty
The room was beautiful, but the bathroom was dirty, the bath as well as toilet. There was no towels in the bathroom. We cleaned the toilet ourselves and mentioned the lack of towels etc to reception. We were offered a R300 meal voucher and was handed non matching towels. The bathroom was clean when we returned, probably by the receptionist herself. It was extremely noisy with people making a noise from 6 the morning.

We enjoyed a short stay at the Point Village Hotel! We were happily upgraded to a bigger room after a request. Great value for money! Can recommend to anyone looking for a affordable and comfortable stay on the beach front!

Adequate but has more potential
We stayed for one night, room was adequate but there were many small things that were unfinished or poorly done. Not having a rail of any kind on the high bunk bed also meant we had to share our bed with one of our children. Regrettably the receptionist was unable to answer our questions, e.g. why did she need a copy of our ID?

Affordable
Spacious. Comfortable beds. No shower, small bath that was dirty. Noisy hotel. Doors and walls very thin. No remote for garage door.

On arrival we were given unit 21, a most unpleasant unit. Sliding door to verandah was broken and couldn't close, kitchen was poorly equipped e.g. Only 2 glasses, no oven tray, etc. stuck it out for 2 nights, then Jeanine came to our rescue and we moved to Point Break 7, which was the perfect holiday accommodation. I highly recommend this complex. Overall staff was friendly and helpful. Great location.
