Amazing
We had a great time at Bruce's. Very friendly and helpful staff and owner (who speaks English, French and German). The rooms are beautiful and clean and the lodge is in walking distance to the city center and other (touristic) hot spots.

A superb location – highly recommended
This beautifully restored Cape Malay house is located in a brilliant spot in Cape Town, close enough to the hustle and bustle to be in a good proximity (in many cases, a walking distance) to places of interest but out of the way enough to allow for a good night’s sleep.The rooms were clean, nicely designed to make the most of the space and very comfortable with an endearingly homely feel. All the amenities we needed were there. We were extremely pleased with our stay and Bruce (plus two extremely friendly pooches – Coco and Teddy) was a wonderful host. We would definitely recommend this charming guesthouse and will happily stay there again.
