Spur of the moment overnight stay
A friend and I were travelling through Mphumalanga and decided to stay over in Sabie for a night. I booked a room at Sabie Self-catering Apartments via Safari Now and had a seamless, hassle free experience from beginning to end. Soon after receiving payment confirmation I received a call from Annelise inquiring if we needed directions and an approximate arrival time. She bumped us up to a bigger apartment at the same rate, which was a very welcome surprise. The apartment was very neat, and well equip. We had a relaxed stay and good night's rest.

Cozy, Complete and Convenient
The Sabie Self-catering Apartment catered to all our needs. it was the perfect cozy setting and central to the Panorama Route. We would recommend it to all young groups, couples or young families.

Way to go Annelise!

Very welcoming
Great to be back in Sabie after 20years. Sabie self-catering apartments clean and inviting. Annelise's advise on food options and general info about what there is to do is great. Definitely recommend it to others. Thanks.

We had such an awesome stay at Sabie self catering. Clean and well equipped. Many thanks to Annelise for a wonderful stay. Annelise  is very friendly, accommodating  and hospitable. We will most certainly visit again.

Awesome
The place was all you needed from a self catering lodge. The customer experience was wonderful. The cleaning was superb. Thank you very much.

Underwhelming
Adequate, but apartments are in need of general maintenance and cosmetic attention. TV was tiny. Bed was uncomfortable with springs poking through. Lovely view from balcony though and good central location.

Weekend of 6 to 7 October
This is probably the most pathetic place I have stayed in, and I travel into Africa a lot. There is no name, no number on the premises. The intercom wires are cut off so they obviously do not work. There is no reception at the place? You need to phone a number and you are greeted by a voicemail which is NEVER returned. This was proven to the owner, who had no answer as to why her phone does not work. The owner had to be called by a maintenance worker as she is located up the street. You have to live with spiders as the photos indicate - which does not tell much about hygiene! The stove only partially works and the shower head is falling off the wall - one is too scared to touch it. The gate only works in manual and cannot be locked, thus no car or in our case motorcycle is safe on the premisis. And for this I had pay??????? Really? "Dorp van die jaar" Unbelievable. Please note that I blame SAFARI NOW as much as I do the owner of this "establishment". I will make it my business to discourage people from using either facility as the standard is quite low. The client I had to see in Sabie is influential in the town and will in all probability dissuade people from using either facility as well and I find it only fair to copy him on this communication as well. The whole hype around "Dorp van die jaar" is given a hell of a dent as is the brand image of Sabie and the organisers of the event as well as the adjudication thereof. As for the image promoting this place - bulldust!
