Family escape to Mpumalanga
We stayed at Shingalana for three nights in Dec 2016, and enjoyed every single day. The rooms are basic, but have everything you need. And it's exactly what you see online. They are clean and well maintained, and very child friendly. The lodge is very close to Kruger National Park and not too far from all the other attractions in the area. George and his wife welcomed us warmly and always went out of their way to accommodate our needs. Very lovely people. I won't hesistate to recommend this lodge to anyone.

Firstly a very big thank you to George, Mara and Adele for their hospitality during my stay.
The entire grounds are immaculately kept and the rooms are very comfortable. I will recommend Shingalana for anyone to stay without reserve.

Much appreciated
We only had the pleasure to stay for a single night, but this Guest House can be used as a base for discovering the Blyde Rivier Canyon and Krugerpark. One feels at home immediately in comfortable cottages.
Considering the unprotected upper area with single beds, this is less appropriate for very small children.
