Cosy and clean
It was a great location.
Cottage was very clean but cold, the heaters supplied did not give enough heat, would suggest installing a fireplace.
Very friendly staff.

Wish we could have stayed longer!
We had such a wonderful stay at the Golden Oldie unit at The Rose Cottage. Everything was spotless and in perfect working order. The cottage is very luxurious and tastefully decorated, and is extremely well equipped – couldn't think of a single thing that we might have needed which wasn't there. We also appreciated all the little extras like additional blankets and complimentary rusks, ground coffee and fresh milk.
One thing we did not expect was the fact that the cottages are not on the same premises as the well-known Rose Cottage restaurant, which is in the main street of Dullstroom. That meant that all the shops were not within walking distance as we thought they would be, and we had to drive to the Rose Cottage restaurant for our breakfast (which was divine, by the way). However, the cottages are just three blocks away from the restaurant and driving such a short distance to town was obviously no problem at all.
All in all, we wished we could have stayed longer. Very good value for money!

Wonderful Long Weekend
We spent the long weekend in March at the Rose Cottage B&B. The accommodation was lovely - situated just off the main street in a lovely garden. The house was very clean and comfortable and well equipped except that we could not find a corkscrew. We took our two dogs with us and although they were allowed to roam the garden that all of the cottages shared, we were scared to leave them in the garden in case someone staying in one of the other cottages left the gate open. The breakfast at the restaurant on the main street which was included was very delicious! Overall, we had a really lovely weekend.

When we came there it was very cold in Dullstroom, they took us to the cottage, all the panel heaters were on and the cottage was cosy with a fireplace inside.
The finishing touches was amazing, chocolates on the bed, hot chocolate in the kitchen.
The kitchen is very well equipt.
Breakfast in the Rose Cottage Restaurant was excellent!

Golden Oldie
My friend and I stayed over in the Golden Oldie for a night and we were very impressed. It is clean, comfortable, spacious, well-maintained and quiet. The breakfast was also great. This place is really good value for money. I will definitely book here again.

So many unexpected extras!
Wow, we were pleasantly surprised to find a B&B with loads of extra little things...hot chocolate, rusks, shower gel, blankets, heaters, electric blankets and even a hot water bottle! The accommodation were very clean and so spacious.
Then the breakfast was also a huge surprise with fruit salad to start of with...very tasty!
Thanks to Anita and all her staff for making our special time at Dullstroom even more special!
