Thulani River Lodge

Thulani Guest Lodge offers luxury African themed accommodation on a lovely large piece of land situated at the bottom of the hill in picturesque Hout Bay. It has beautiful gardens and a peaceful and natural ambience permeates throughout. The hosts were welcoming and our needs were met. Our room was very private and nicely decorated and we enjoyed a private balcony that looked over the gardens. We were cooked a delicious breakfast in the morning which was served outside in the sunshine. The only facility that this lodge lacked for me was a TV in the bedroom and Satellite channels, as the lack of meant we missed our rugby match. Besides that it was a very enjoyable stay. This would be a good choice for someone looking for a quiet and relaxing break.

A hearty welcome and very helpful and friendly hosts that made us feel at home the week we spent at Cape Town. The meals were excellent and original, the wines delicious as well. We will stay here again when we come back to South Africa.
