Lovely place
The place is great, we really enjoyed staying there and best of all, the place is situated near the beach and best restaurants in Cape Town. We also received a warm welcome. Thanks for the wonderful memories created.

Mistake!
I booked Villa Atlantica for 5 nights - stayed only for 2. I booked the "Studio" which was an awful experience. A view to a wall with a big hole, one table, to chairs and 2 sun beds - most likely about 20 years old. The room and the little kitchen needed some sort of "refurbishing". The bed was relatively new. The TV was like the room about 20 years old, with a lot of cables "hanging" around. The freezing storage of the fridge stank from fish. Salt and Pepper mills dirty.
In the beginning no WiFi in the room. The owner settled it immediately the next day, however it remained very unstable.
Nice mutual kitchen facilities at the first floor which a nice terrace and view. The only thing which was positive. A high price for nothing!

• He booked for 5 nights and stayed for 2 – This is because he was delayed in Dubai for 3 nights on business.
• He describes the view as “a wall with a big hole” – This studio room is advertised as follows on your site: Our luxury en-suite studio bedroom with a king-size bed is mountain-facing and features a private entrance, kitchenette, DStv, safe, air-conditioner, heater, wireless Internet and security. Twin beds are available on request. Sliding glass doors lead out into a private garden with barbecue facilities. We do not advertise any views with this room as there aren't any. It does, however, face the mountain and has a great view of it. Guests naturally stare into an outside wall as it is ground level, but when you look up, you see the gorgeous table mountain and 12 apostles.
• He then goes on saying that some of the furniture and the TV is extremely old – we have never had this kind of feedback, I do feel his reference to “old” is quite biased. If he wanted to stay in a guesthouse with ultra new furniture and finishes, he should have booked in one of the 5 star accommodations which charge triple the price. Unfortunately, on his budget, he really had extremely high expectations which obviously were not met. We will be replacing the TV and will definitely repair the inconsistencies so that future guests are as comfortable as possible. We pride ourselves on style and perfection at an affordable rate. He do not advertise having 5 star quality and finishes and the photos of our guest house are exactly what guests receive.
It is very unfortunate that this guest did not enjoy his stay as we go out our way to ensure that all guests are happy, as he said, once he highlighted that the wifi was not working, we fixed it immediately.
I hope this explains his concerns and I hope that this review is not published as I do feel its quite subjective and not 100% reflective on our accommodation. You just need to read our other reviews to see how inaccurate he was.

Fantastic Getaway
Together with my wife, I can confirm that we had a blast – fantastic stay at the Villa Atlantica. Villa Atlantica is well positioned to allow easy access to the beach and fantastic restaurants while at the same time allowing easy passage to the city centre. (Fantastic views of the Table Mountain!)
Word of advice, if you are contemplating a trip with friends and family, be assured that Villa Atlantica has the most suitable accommodation to meet your needs . . . this is a must see!
