Quaint, quiet and great views
This was such a great find and great value for money. We wished we had booked for a longer stay and will definitely return should we find ourselves in Franschhoek again.

Exceeded our expectations
This is a best kept secret of Franshoek. Everything was as we expected it to be and more. We stayed for two nights and so wish could extend our stay for a week. Definitely going back.

Comfortable and Enjoyable
Villa Roux was comfortable & enjoyable and Dalena is a caring hostess. We did not make use of the catering features of the cottage as we only stayed one night, but Dalena seems to have thought of everything. We also didn't make use of the upstairs futon. The cottage was warm and the bed comfortable. We would certainly use Villa Roux again.

Excellent accommodation to be recommended to your most discerning customers. Absolutely nothing can be faulted in this spotless, well-appointed cottage. Wonderful views, privacy, peace and quiet and yet, it's only a stone's throw from the tourist bustle of Franschhoek.

Peaceful home away from home
What a lovely experience we had with our stay at Villa Roux! The little cottage (and owner) really accommodates for all your needs. We loved the view from the balcony, the airconditioned lounge area and the kitchen had all the utensils we needed. The wi-fi access made our trip even more enjoyable as we were able to do our research beforehand and plan our trips well. It also helps that it is situated within walking distance from the main road. We will definitely return and highly recommend this accomodation to all travelers.

Really enjoyed
We really enjoyed our stay at Villa-Roux from 18 February to 01 March 2013.
Very pleasant and quiet as it is situated in a Cul De Sac.
Dalena is very friendly and caring and could not do enough to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.
This certainly wont be our only stay at Villa-Roux.

This is a lovely, peaceful, well-appointed cottage and Magdalena is a caring, thoughtful and friendly host. And joy of joys, the double bed is really firm and comfortable. So we managed to really rest, which was our great hope for the stay! Thank you!

A most enjoyable experience

Lovely getaway
We enjoyed our weekend in this comfortable self-catering accommodation in a quiet cul-de-sac. It was well-equipped and it was lovely to have a separate lounge with a balcony giving a beautiful view of the mountain. Magdalena was friendly and welcoming.
