Vuwa Lodge

The place was clean and decent but we could not sleep at night. We had a room next to the reception and next to the gate. We could hear every movement at night, people coming-in or driving in. People standing next to our room to make calls in the middle of the night. The receptionist making and answering calls the whole night and shouting on the phone. It was the worst night of my life.

it was the worst experiece ever and i would recommend it be removed from Safari.

the staff at reception were not welcoming, and carried on with what they were doing when we arrived (watching TV) at 9pm.

they were disinterested, couldnt answer simple questions like til what time breakfast is served, with the response being 06.30. That is just unheard of!

When taken to the room, the gentleman explained that the TV remove doesnt work as it was broken by the previous occupants a week ago. The room itself wasnt inviting, and as it was at the back, it was a long walk from reception and they wouldnt allow us to use the back gate. something to do with the key 'missing'.

we checked out 10 min later, and opted to drive the back to Pretoria in the dead of night!



this is a place to avoid if looking for rest. there were too many dodgy characters at reception it looked like a brothel!
