We spent 1 night at this beautiful lodge. We were looking for some peace and quiet and a place to relax. This was the perfect spot. The lodge rooms are perfectly located near a river and the view from the room is beautiful. You can hear bird and forest sounds, and it is just magical. It was unfortunate that we only booked in for 1 night.
I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking to relax.

Very nice, chilled getaway
I stayed 2 nights at their campsite and enjoyed every minute of it. Jaap and Nienke were very nice and friendly and the whole atmosphere was chilled. I can only speak for the campsite, but it was possibly the best I have stayed at yet. Power, wi-fi, communal kitchen, showers, braai area and the BEST grass to picth you tent in ever. I'll be back!

Beautiful and serene
The place was beautiful and serene. Perfect get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. But I preferred the luxury suite to the standard as it has a thatch roof.

Lovely place, great value for money!
We really enjoyed Wellvale very much. Nice owners, they were always there and were very helpful. A beautiful big garden with numerous birds and other animals. A river and a waterfall next to the garden gave a great view. The room was big and the outside shower was very nice in the morning, looking at the clear blue sky from the shower!
A very nice place with the best value for money we had during our holiday in South Africa.

Great accommodation
Great accommodation in a beautiful place. We enjoyed our stay very much and would like to go back and stay for a longer period of time. Our hosts were very hospitable and friendly and the food was excellent. The rondavel rooms are stunning and the outside shower a real experience.
