Disaster!!!!!
I was really diassappointed and did not enjoy my stay. The place is well located but so dilapidated and must be revamped. Our suite Palm, disaster..dark, unclean, no view of the dam due to long and uncut trees. The private jacuzzi...words fail me. there was a horrible smell almost like sewage. I would not recommnd it...total disaster.

The place form the begging looked amazing.
Friday evening As we approached the room we got strong odor of the septic tank. It was bad. There was no rest of the smell as pungent as it was from the weekend....
We Made a small fire Saturday eve after the suggestion by Ingrid to use the wood on sale for R15 a bag, the fire place worked well till our neighbor on the next suite had a braai and the whole room filled with their smoke from the chimey attached to our unit on the outside, for 2-3 hours i had to open the windows and switch on the fan in winter next to the dam and vent the room. Obviously our clothes and everything reeked from the braai smoke smell.

Willinga Lodge
The hosts Will and Ingrid was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The view of the dam is beautiful. The place is very peacefull and nice to have a rest. It was very nice to watch the birds feeding while we had breakfast. There is abundend bird life and the garden is very beautiful. Although the owners are moving to Simon's town i know they will make a success of there new adventure and we wish them all the best.

The owners, Will and Ingrid, are very gracious, friendly and welcoming. The room (Palm Suite) itself could have been better/more equipped for the price being charged.

We absolutely loved our room, nice and cosy feel to it. I for one enjoyed the spa bath very much. Excellent view and Will and Ingrid are the most lovely hosts. Would go back anytime, very nice for a romantic getaway. By the way Ingrid makes the most amazing breakfast.
