Small & clean, with everything you need!
We enjoyed our stay at Aanhouwen cottages. We planned a day of wine tasting in the Elgin area and were looking for a place to stay over after all the wine drinking. The Aanhouwen cottages are basic, but had everything we needed! The kitchen (although small) is well equipped - we had all the utensils and bowls that we needed. Quite often I find that self catering places are limited with kitchen utensils, but everything we needed we could find here. The cottages are a bit small, but perfect it you want to spend the weekend or day sightseeing the Elgin area. The cottage and bedrooms were also very clean.

Our stay at Aanhouwen Cottages
My husband, 6 month old daughter and I had a lovely overnight stay in the Sally Cottage. We had everything we needed and the view was lovely with the pond/dam just below us and the mountains above that. We look forwarding to exploring the Elgin area in the future!

Wilm
It was very nice to stay in Wilm, neat and clean, with a hearty welcome from the Great Dane the next morning.
The only thing that I "missed" was a little bar of soap, which I actually forgot to bring along.

Wonderful stay

Cosy
It was a cold and wet week but I enjoy the cosiness the cottage provided. A double bed with enough clean and warm blankets. And to my surprise a fan heater that provided enough heat against the 3 degrees outside.

Thank you for our stay at Aanhouwen Cottages. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and lovely atmosphere. The cottages are basic but well kept and in good, clean condition, and possibly the most affordable in the area. We didn't need anything more. Thank you!

Relaxed stay in a lovely setting
Aanhouwen self-catering cottages are basic but well-equipped, with a separate kitchen and en-suite bathroom. It has everything you need (stove, fridge, microwave, cooking utensils, cutlery, crockery, fan, heater, fireplace, braai) for a relaxed stay. The location in the mountains and alongside lakes and dams is beautiful and inviting. A good value getaway.

Lovely in every way
