Aloe House

I was not impressed on arrival as although it is billed as off road parking - which in essence it is - no mention is made of the fact that you need to liaise with the people staying in the main house to "juggle" which car can be parked at the head of the queue in order to be able to get your car off the property !!
Things just got worse as my partner and I went into the unit - have gone into more detail in the private message to the owner - don't want to cause her embarrassment in public. The best part of the stay was sleeping on the double bed - really comfortable and lovely bedding. All in all it was NOT a pleasant experience and I will certainly NOT be back !!

A lovely old house, well decorated, but not very practical for a young family. The house is on a busy street with all 3 bedrooms facing on to the road so you get traffic noise throughout the night. The write up indicates that there is a TV but there was none in the house. The only place to sit and eat was a table and benches outside on the patio - it was too cold to do that with the kids in winter. The kitchen was not well equiped, the micorwave was so tiny we could not fit the bottle steriliser in it. There were a few small niggles such as the hot water tap in the kitchen not working, the microwave had not been cleaned and no toilet paper at all in the house.
