My wife and I stayed at B&B By the Beach in Salt Rock
In the Garden Cottage.
We weren't happy with the cleanliness it doesn't deserve any stars. Pots and pans still had food stuck from previous guest's .
The advert state's that it's a B&B but it isn't.
Photos on advert are out dated and very deceiving.

I am very sorry you were not happy during your stay on the weekend. You booked my Queen B&B room and then called me to ask for a cheaper room. I offered you my Self-catering Garden Cottage which is cheaper as there is NO BREAKFAST, and the Cottage does not have a sea view like my other rooms. Therefore it is cheaper! You chose to take the cheaper room and I am very sorry you and your wife were not happy, Cheaper, is cheaper, maybe you should have taken the more expensive room with breakfast and then you would both be happy. I am very sorry about saucepans in the cupboard not being completely clean and accept full responsibility for that. I was happy to offer you secure garage parking with a remote for your 4x4 car, free unlimited WiFi, Satellite TV, I am sorry you chose the cheaper option and were no happy with your choice!

Beautiful View!
If you want to have a beautiful view of the Indian Ocean, have a peaceful and filling breakfast on the balcony overlooking the ocean, and a comfortable place to stay, we recommend Bed & Breakfast By the Sea. Though the area was on water restriction, Sue did her best to make our stay comfortable and nice. We had been travelling for a week when we got to her. She offered to do laundry service for us! We had a wonderful time there. It is a bit far from Durban (via a toll road) if you plan to sight-see there, but if you want a relaxing holiday and time by the sea, it's a great place.

Great get away spot!
A lovely get away from city life. Great accommodation with friendly, helpful hosts. Beautiful views of the sea. Would recommend to anyone who wants a relaxing trip down to the coast.

True expression of what the guesthouse is
The photo on the brochure didn't do justice to the actual view from the balcony. It has been the most relaxing, calming experience of a lifetime! We loved every moment. I will definitely recommend you to my friends.
