Bonwa Phala Game Reserve

Our stay at Bonwa Phala Bushcamp was so lovely - although only 2.5 hours outside of Johannesburg, the tranquillity and seclusion the units offer is wonderful. Our hosts Marietjie and Pieter were so warm and helpful. The dinners and breakfasts served to us (inclusive in accommodation costs) were delicious. Within the farm we managed to view giraffe, jackals, blesbok, red hartebeest, black wildebeest, zebra, impala, nyala, kudu and a scrub hare, as well as some tree squirrels and warthog. Eland, springbok and buffalo are also present on the farm. The birdlife in the area is terrific too. Thanks for your hospitality Bonwa Phala!
