Nice cottage having what is needed to self cater for two. Quiet and nice garden for use. Good place to stay to explore beautiful Kalk Bay and surroundings. Very friendly reception and Chrissie, the landlady. If allergic, Chrissie has a dog who really like her visitors.

Beyond expectations
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at seaside cottage. From booking Chris was more than helpful and friendly.
The location is superb! You are in the heart of kalk bay but the culdrsac allows you privacy and quiet from the hustle and bustle.
The accommodation itself was beyond expectations. Beautifully decorated and the facilities fantastic. The shower is the best I have had!
Chris has a lovely lawn that you can relax in with views over the bay.
We will definitely be staying at by the seaside cottage when we are next is town and recommend it to anyone wanting a weekend break or to stay in Cape Town / kalk bay.

Amazing
I spent a fantastic 7 weeks at By the Seaside Cottage. The accommodation was excellent. Everything I needed and more was provided. I felt very much at home. Kalk Bay is a wonderful community. I will definitely be returning to Kalk Bay and By the Seaside Cottage.
