Best experience ever!!
My husband and I travel a lot to little towns around the Western Cape and our experience of self-catering establishments is extensive. Chick Shack has been our best experience ever!! The owner, Mare, has such exquisite attention to detail. The self-catering apartment is exactly as its names suggests...absolutely chic!! So tastefully decorated, inviting, spotlessly clean, comfortable and everything you can imagine you need is there. There is a gorgeous semi-enclosed eating and braai area next to a sparkling pool and the most beautiful lemon tree. We arrived on a cold winter's night and our wall heater and electric blankets were already on...just shows you the amount of care and consideration of the owner! Every penny worth the rate, we cannot wait to go back! Thank you, Mare!

Pure Bliss
What a little gem and so close to town. Beautifully decorated with attention to detail like you seldom find in a self catering unit.
Mare you were a wonderful welcoming host. Nothing was too much trouble for you.
Tranquil and peaceful with the added bonus of a swimming pool for the hot days.
We spent a very relaxing six days there. Would recommend it to any couple looking for a bit of romance and soul time.
A very special place in an awesome town.
The little extra touches like Easter eggs for our daughter to the bag of charcoal were very much appreciated.
This little hide-away should be at the top of your list.
