We used the guesthouse as a stopover on a trip from Johannesburg to Cape Town. It met all our requirements - tidy, clean and private and a friendly reception. I would certainly keep it on my list of places to use in future.
We can also recommend JC's Pub and Restaurant if you want to go out for a light meal.

Chrizaan Guest House offers simple and clean overnight accommodation in Colesberg. Suzan is a friendly, helpful and attentive host. My family and I will definitely make use of Chrizaan again should we need to break our trip to Cape Town in Colesberg.

Wonderful Stay

Room was so homely and comfortable. After being on the road for 8 hours and arriving late on a chilly night, coming to a nice warm bed (from the electric blankets being turned on already) was wonderful.
Slept well and felt refreshed for next part of our journey. If ever in Colesburg again, will definitely visit again

Ons het onlangs (Maart 2015) by Chrizaan oornag en kan dit ten sterkste aanbeveel, skoon, ruim, en als wat nodig is, weg van die oornag trokverkeer, hartlike ontvangs van Suzan & Chris.
We recently visited Chrizaan Guest House and it is highly recommended. Clean, spacious and has everything you need. We had a warm welcome from Sue & Chris

We stayed at Chrizaan on our way to Stillbay and on our way back and it was fabulous.
The flat is clean, spacious and got everything one needs for a good nights rest.
Best part was grounds are enclosed for your pets giving one peace of mind when they go out for walks.
The host and hostess were there to meet us and ensure we had everything we needed.
There are even fresh rusks, ice water, milk
K, tea, coffee and all provided.
We will definitely stay there again as the best we've stayed at with best rates.

Great Over-Night Stay
My two sons stayed over on the way back from the Garden Route. The accommodation was comfortable and clean. The owner was friendly and helpful about where to eat in Colesberg. They really enjoyed their stay and would stay over again.

Chrizaan Guest House - Experience
Seven of us stayed over on our way to CT and also on our return. This was the cheapest overnight stay that we could find in the town. We enjoyed the stay and the supply of enough coffee and fresh Milk we had a good rest on comfortable beds and will definitely recommend this as a overnight stay. Very Very very clean and Neat!

Firstly we would like to thank you Chrizaan for such a warm welcome into your guest house. coming from Jo'burg for a short visit we decided to over night at Chrizaan's having only arrived at the guest house at 2am the morning not knowing where it was situated. Chrizaan was kind enough to guide us at that time of the morning.
Arriving so late it was heart warming to come stay over in such a comfortable and inviting house that we wanted to stay a little longer..
I recommend her guest house to everyone passing through Colesberg as it is really and unforgettable stay. And the best hospitality EVER!

Very Neat!
After a long and exhausting road from Betty's Bay, we were welcomed by a very friendly hostess. We were made to feel welcome. The unit we slept in was extremely neat and spacious. All you need is provided! Great value for money!

Lovely room
Stayed the night at Chrizaan with our Boerbul. We were made to feel at home. Even though it was bitterly cold, the room had plenty of warmth with extra blankets, electric blankets and a heater. The en-suite bathroom was large and very clean. The little kitchenette was well-equipped. I would definitely recommend it to anyone - especially travelling with pets.
