Baie mooi
Om by De Ark tuis te gaan, was soos om by familie te kuier. Juanita en Danie was baie gasvry en gaan uit hul pad om dit vir 'n mens so gerieflik moontlik te maak. Die chalets is skoon en netjies en baie ruim. Die ontbyt is fantasties! Ons sal enige tyd weer by De Ark bly en sal dit vir ander aanbeveel.

FABULOUS!
What a wonderful experience staying at De Ark was. The food was excellent, the chalet was warm and clean and staff warm and friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend it and will definitely be going there again, very soon. oh, did I mention the food? it was very very good!

Easter with family and friends
We had an excellent 3 night stay last weekend, two families (5 teen age kids). We met very friendly and helpful team, flexible to help in anything, and the guided walk with Romario was also excellent, nice accommodation and facilities and very reasonable price, good value for money. The location is just perfect, wonderful mountain view, close proximity to Golden Gate and you also can have a nice walk on the farm, lots of activities nearby. We also had excellent dinner, braai was fantastic. We also managed to climb up to the the Tugela falls, Royal Natal NP, about 2 hrs drive to the trail start point, it is really a must to do. We also loved the quiet, private atmosphere, very good place for families, small groups. We will try to be back soon.

Heaven in Clarens
We only wanted a peaceful and quiet weekend, but we got more than that. We only stayed for one night, but will definitely be back!

Pleasant
Our stay over for the night of Saturday 23 June was very pleasant and met all our expectations. More than enough wood was supplied to warm up the chalet on an exceptionally cold and wet night.
Two complaints :
- Supper at R140 per person for a bowl of stew and rice with chocolate ice cream was a bit expensive.
- One candle for light after the elecricity cut out as a result of the thunderstorm is not enough. There should be at least two.
