Ecotel Midrand

 - The carpets were smelly

 - The lights went off just after 21h00. I was told it's due to load-shedding but i feel we should have been notified prior to our arrival in case we needed to make alternative arrangements

 - I found out in the morning that the room price did not include breakfast. Some clarity on this beforehand would have been appreciated

The room was very small and basic, unfortunately the ceiling fan, bedside lamp and tv remote were all not working! The button on the intercom for the gate is also missing so you push directly onto the pin!



Access to the room was via an outside path onto a narrow verandah, not ideal in inclemet weather.

There was also no floor mat in the bathroom and the handbasin cold water tap is loose.

We were not impressed and will not stay there again.
