Eden Safari Country House, Waterhole

I cant say enough about Eden Safari Country House. I've been raving about it to everyone I talk to. My wife and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary there. It is the perfect setting and then some. We were completely blown away by the beauty and luxury of Eden at a fair price. Our thanks go out to management and staff. A truly special, spectacular and unique experience. Hats off to you guys.

My friends and I stayed at Eden for 3 nights but it wasn't long enough! The house is spacious, beautifully kept and decorated with lots of interesting and unusual African themed pieces. We were greeted by Pefenia and Johnson, the wonderful staff who look after the house and live in cottages next door. They were so friendly and helpful: Pefenia kept the house immaculate (she came in while we were out and did the washing up) and Johnson washed our (very muddy) car! The house is in Marloth Park so there are animals around, we has a whole family of warthogs visit the house one day, and a rare spotted genet came to see us one night! We were about 20 minutes drive from Crocodile Bridge Gate and about 35 minutes drive from Malelane Gate. Crocodile Bridge was definitely our favourite, the water source means lots of game and we had some fantastic drives there. The owner, Anette, was also fantastic and provided a very personal service with regular emails about our trip and organising a night bush braai for us, which we can highly recommend. It involved a 2hr sunset drive in the park followed by a 3 course meal in the bush, inside KNP! The drive was amazing, we saw buffalo, elephant, rhino, hippos (on land!) and even a leopard! After that the meal was extremely good, and an experience we'll never forget. Definitely ask Anette about this! All in all, our experience at Eden was a fantastic one and we have already booked our next stay! I would recommend it for anyone: friends, family or couples. We really enjoyed our one night of luxury. You've done a great job making it tourist friendly with a home touch. Our grand children loved feeding the kudu.

Our stay here was delightful, a perfect base for Kruger Park and the property was way above our expectations. Pefenia and Johnson attented to our every need a made our stay very enjoyable. We spent the morning having breakfast in 'the tree house', cooling off in the afternoon in the pool and cooking on the braai in the evening. The only downside was our stay was too short! I can do nothing else that give this property full marks and recommend it to me and all.

Absolutely fantastic! We can't wait for our next visit. Can't thank Anette enough for sharing their precious gem with us. The 2 days were not nearly enough and we're already missing the sounds of the hippos and the lions as we lie in our city bed once again.

This is definitely one of the best kept jewels of Marloth Park. The house is awesome, has all you could ever need for a holiday in the bush and is beautiful beyond words. I will recommend this place to all I know.

Ons verblyf by Eden was absoluut "awesome" gewees, van die verwelkoming af tot met ons vertrek was Pefenia vriendelik en baie behulpsaam, die zebra's en kameelperde het ons soggens besoek! Sal beslis weer gaan kuier! Danie, Marinda, Marcelle, Dawie, Erika, Waldo.

We had a wonderful time at Eden. The house is very well appointed, Perphina the house keeper is a true gem. The children loved feeding the Zebras that visited us each evening along with the family of Warthogs. I would not hesitate to recommend a stay at Eden, we cannot wait to return!
