Great place to spend down-time.
Everything we needed was on hand, location is ideal and close to walks, staff were attentive and discreet.
Very homely and welcoming atmosphere with plenty of room for everyone.

Great Stay
Beautiful stone built cottage with fireplace. Enjoyed taking pics and relaxing at the outside braai, beautiful garden and huge lawn. The dam has a small boat and kids enjoyed it. Happiness serviced the house and is friendly. Cottage is close to Castleburn and Drakensberg Resort. If you need peace and quiet stay at Esigodini. Convenient store, horseriding, hiking, fishing, restuarants are within 1-2 km. We did our shopping at Spar in Underberg 25km from Cottage. We had only 1 problem, our stay was too short

best weekend
Visited the cottage on the weekend of the 16-19 October with 7 of my friends. Oh my how we LOVED the place. the house was so charming and VERY CLEAN. The helpers were so nice. The views,the yard,the landscaping,oh my it was amazing. We surely loved the place and we wanna head back again.

Fantastic for the whole family!
Great spot that has everything that you need between the mountains. We took the whole family for a weekend away and everyone had a great time! We were even lucky enough to get snow one night and build a snow man. Loved the warm fire place and exploring the area around the cottage. We will definitely be back again! Excellent value for money!!!

Absolutely Breath Taking
We enjoyed a wonderful weekend away at this little gem in Underberg. By far the best value for money in the area. The staff were delightful, the views absolutely breath taking and the establishment by far exceeded our expectations. The photographs definitely do not do the place justice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially the freezing cold evenings sitting around the fire. We will most definitely be back soon, hopefully for a longer stay :)

Family Weekend
Esigodini was a delightful stay with the family. For the price we paid I was a bit skeptical however on our arrival everyone was pleasantly surprised. Affordable, safe and peaceful with a beautiful garden area.
The cottage had everything one needed. Perfect location to Drakensberg gardens and lake Naverone where one could enjoy the day facilities.

Peaceful
It was beautiful, peaceful. Its just so wonderful to be in the mountains. It is spacious and sleeps 10 people. It was lovely to walk around the gardens and sit outside.

Breathtakingly beautiful
Our stay at Esigodini Cottage was absolutely amazing. The trip from Johannesburg is a very very long one, especially the last 100 or so kilometers through the winding roads of underberg but once we arrived it was absolutely worth it. The cottage itself is quaint and cost, the garden and outside area around the Fire are spectacular but the most breathtaking element is the views and surrounding landscapes. I cannot recommend this cottage enough!

Great Spot, Awesome Value For Money
The pictures, though nice, actually don't do Esigodini justice - everything is even better when you are there! We were super impressed with the facilities and loved being away in this small, pretty valley. We will hopefully be back soon.

A week of bliss

Re-union of 10G guys
Over the years, we have had a couple of re-unions with class mates after 25 years. This was by far the best place we stayed for the price. The help by Clement and his daughter was excellent. I will be taking my family to this unit soon. Thanks.
