FigTree Lane Lodge

An AA rating of 4 stars was not pleasant - there were issues with light fittings that weren't working before we got there and it was an issue to get it fixed but were given a little lamp which alas did not provide sufficient light. The bedding was torn and shower head was dismal and the TV signal was terrible. Lots of dirty finger marks on walls and doors, with cobwebs in the shower and under the basin, which was brought to managements attention but was not correcter by our departure. Tiles were missing in the kitchen and "it was the previous people had destroyed them". Only a bread knife was available for sharp cutting. The kettle was dirty and grubby. For the price we paid, it was not a good experience. Next week we will be going down the road to a Protea Lodge for two weeks.
