I really enjoyed my birthday weekend at Fire Mountain lodge it's super amazing. .Edward is also kind and welcoming and very considerate.

Fires was clean (except for the fan, whish was filthy) and adequate. The pool is clean, but needs a new coating. The complete lack of security is a concern.

Excellent Stay!
The stay was amazing and welcoming. The cabins are set in a beautiful surrounding with the dam being very close by. My husband and I enjoyed our getaway at Fires Mountain Lodge and will definitely recommend it to others.

We enjoyed our stay. Very clean. Only 2 suggestions - Maybe proper ceilings fans? As well as maybe DSTV compact or something similar, If it rains there is nothing to watch. Todays SABC TV's do not cater for everyone. Else enjoyable

Such a relaxing stay!
We had a lovely stay at Fires Mountain Lodge. The cabin was sufficiently equipped with what we needed and the lodge is very peaceful.
Thankfully Linda told us to bring extra blankets because the cabin is very cold at night! My only improvement recommendation would be to get a heater or fireplace installed into the cabins to make it pleasant at night in winter.
We will definitely be back though! The kids loved walking around the property and seeing the guinea fowl. A generally lovely weekend at an extremely affordable price.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Fires Mountain Lodge - Edward and his family are just wonderful. The chalet we stayed in was comfortable and had a glorious view of the Hartebeespoort Dam and mountains ranges.
Would recommend this lodge to all my friends and will definitely stay here again.

Fires Mountain Lodge is situated in a beautifulsurrounding with beautiful nature and a fabulous view over Hartebeespoort Dam. The people are friendly and one feels welcome on arrival. The place are situated near many attractions. It is peaceful and looked after very well.

What a disappointment
My husband and me wanted to spend a nice weekend getaway for our first wedding anniversary. We were so shocked about the condition of the lodge that we left again even though we had already paid the full price in advance.

Enjoyable stay!
Had such a wonderfull stay at Fires Mountain Lodge. We stayed in Log Cabin No 1 and it was very clean and we felt right at home. The owners are very friendly and they made us feel very welcome. We also got fresh towels on arrival. We will be back again. Sarah and Tommie Tolmay.
