Very personal
I had an older but cheaper room. It had everything that I needed. I left at 5.15am every morning to the Kruger Park and only came back at 6.30pm. I had dinner every night at the Gecko Lodge at 7pm and went to bed after. The food was good but the best was the very personal treatment. Staff was very attentive too. Would certainly recommend this to a friend without hesitation.

Wonderful Stay
Lovely accommodation! The beds sleep very comfortably, very welcoming, friendly, clean and close to all activities the Hazyview area has to offer. Our hosts made us feel right at home from the minute we arrived. Will definitely return, after 2 days it felt like we had been there for a week! Thank you

one star too much
Owners very friendly. However this can not hide the point that the rooms we got had nothing to do with any of the rooms showed on the pictures as advertised. The bathrooms walls, ceilings etc were just filthy, mold all over. No night table in the bedrooms.Terrible mattress. At a price of 900 rand per room a total rip off. Asked where we could sit outside we were shown 4 dining chairs outside. A total waste of time and money.

Excellent value for money
Lodge is quite charming, with very congenial hosts. Food simple, but well cooked. Gardens are beautiful. Will definitely be returning and can recommend the Lodge to others.
