Elephan retreat
Liz gave us a very warm welcome like we were old friends. Our room was spacious, light and fresh and the setting is beautiful, peaceful with a lovely swimming pool that we swam in and relaxed around.
Breakfast was like no other we've had with an introduction to other guests, greeted with homemade bread by Peter and jams by Liz. A perfect strqrt to our day in Addo National Park which is literally around the corner.
The perfect location to relax in with a view of the river after a long day in the park.
Will definitely be back on my next visit.

Happy Jackal Guest House
The hosts, Peter and Liz, gave us a very warm welcome and their friendliness and hospitality was heartwarming. The room (especially the bed) was comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated, with a lovely view of the river. The food was delicious, not to mention the freshly baked bread by Peter! They also kindly took my husband's diabetes into account when serving our breakfast. We would not hesitate to go back there for another break.

Fantastic. Rooms amaazing food fantastic esp home made sausages. pity the weather wasnt better. Liz and Allen made us feel home from home - told us about many places to visit. Best was Grunters - best steak in SA ! Definitely would return for longer.
