The place to be!
We had a wonderful stay at Hartbeespoortdam lodge. The place is beautiful and so quiet for the much needed break. Eleanor , wow! Such a loving soul, she is an angel and a star. She made us to feel at home for the three nights we spent at the dam. Keep shining Eleanor . The breakfast ....yummy! We stayed in Timbivati Suite, we loved it. Oh the boat cruise, the picnic....amazing!

What wonderful hospitality! Eleanor is such a sweet person and makes sure all her guests feel welcome and completely at home. The Zambesi suite was beautiful, the view spectacular and Eleanor's picnic baskets and breakfasts so yummy. A perfect setting for our engagement weekend and a trip we will always treasure.

Amazing in every respect
We spent a romantic night away from Pretoria.
Every little thing was cared for. Love and pure, honest interest was shown to us. Every need was met immediately. Thoughtfulness to its fullest.
We ordered a picnic basket for the dinner in our Zambesi Suite. The suite and the food in the basket deserve 5 stars.

Exciting
It was exciting for staying at the Lodge. The treatment is absolutely satisfactory. The treatment by staff including the owner herself, it was exhilarating and exciting, without ignoring the palatability of the meals offered. Try yourself and you might comment better than I did, you will never regret.
