Brief but Great Stay
We had a very brief overnight stay so unfortunately did not get to enjoy any of the wonderful activities offered! Our little cabin was comfortable,clean and cute. Hope we can return sometime in the future.

Cuddle inducing cold
Jagerskraal is set in a beautiful and tranquil valley in the Karoo. We spent two nights there at the end of August which may or may not have been ideal considering the Karoo is an icebox in winter. We were not advised at all as to the heating arrangement until we arrived on the farm. We stayed in the Brink cottage and were extremely cold. There was no substantial heating provided and the two hot water bottles we were given were a laughable attempt at warming up the cold. Out of the hot-water taps, ran cold water and the shower heated up to a below luke-warm temperature. We passed a humorous time because what else is there to do but laugh at such extreme coldness. Cuddling close and laughing to our hearts content was our only option!

Lekker!
Vir ons huweliks herdenking het ons die stilte en prag van die Karoo gekies. In ons soektog na geskikte akkomodasie in die grootte Karoo het Jagerskraal gaste plaas ons opgeval.
Die verblyf daar het ons glad nie teleurgestel nie. Die krag wat nie aan die Nasionale netwerk gekoppel is nie werk uitstekend en die eenheid (Arbeidershuis) is goed toegerus. Die yskas wat oornag buite werking geraak het is die volgende oggend binne minute van ons oproep vervang. Ons het veral die 4x4 roete baie geniet en sal beslis die plaas weer besoek.
Die personeel is vriendelik en baie hulpvaardig.

Long drive
We had cold showers as there was no hot water. After we went through the gate that takes you to the farm, we drove for quite a while before we got to our accommodation; the off road trip was a long way off the highway.
