Great solo stay
Awesome little cottage for a self catering trip to an insanely beautiful area! I was alone and on my bike, so I really appreciated the company of the amazingly friendly dogs, the simplicity of the place and the great price.
I'll definitely be back, if only to say hi to my new 4-legged best friends :)

The garden and the view were great.
The space inside the rondavel was very small, especially the shower (100x50 cm.)
We did not like the very big dogs walking all over the
terrain, also by us.

Not my cup of tea
Pretty dated. Bathroom sliding door on out cottage (no 2 I think) was dangerous - at one stage it came off rail so had to battle to get it back on. Shared with a friend so not too private as bathroom was en suite and I slept on bed in kitchen which meant disturbing her if I needed the bathroom. Lots of religious literature all over.

Ons het die verblyf geniet. Almal was gerieflik en tuis. Die plaas atmosfeer het dit vir ons gedoen omdat ons self van 'n plaas kom. Daar kan in die groter chalet meer koffie wees, 'n bietjie vars melk ook, asb? TV met sport kanale sal ook 'n groot pluspunt wees. Die bad kan maar uitkom, vervang dit met 'n stort, want die gas geiser maak die water nie warm genoeg vir die bad nie. Die beddens met warm komberse was heerlik in die koue. Daar is genoeg ekstra komberse indien dit nodig sou wees.

Wonderful!
We had a fantastic time with our little family. The kids milked a cow and fed some calves. Accommodation was very well tended and was exactly what we were looking for. Evenings on patio with braai overlooking the fields really hit the spot. Estelle was a most welcoming host.
